Risen from the mists of Turin in 2008 through the vision of guitarist Dayan, Exanguis first carved their path in the underground scene with a visceral live presence. Their first self-produced demo—now a lost relic buried in digital archives—stands as a testament to a primordial era that was abruptly cut short. By 2011, suffocated by existential chaos, internal instability, and a barren musical landscape that offered no escape, Exanguis dissolved into silence.
For years, the project remained a dormant shadow in Dayan’s mind, an unanswered call. It was not until 2024 that a meeting with kindred spirits, united by a total devotion to Black Metal, reopened the wound.
Today, Exanguis does not merely return: they have evolved. Abandoning the melodic death influences of the past, the band’s sound has mutated into an uncompromising sonic brutality. While retaining echoes of their origins, this new incarnation is driven by an unexplored acoustic violence. There is no longer room for the individual; every track is now the result of a choral composition, a collective ritual that has forged a cohesive sonic monolith. D-Key’s lyrics, laden with anguish, complete the work by painting scenarios of absolute desolation.
2025 marks the advent of "Living a Nightmare", their first official EP. Four tracks that trace the new, blood-soaked path of Exanguis, ready to emerge from the shadows to reclaim the stage with renewed ferocity. Prepare for the assault.

"Living a Nightmare" is a vertical descent into the abyss. A work forged in the fires of the most relentless Raw Black Metal, where melody finds no shelter and hope flickers like a fragile flame, waiting to be extinguished. The sound is an impenetrable wall: Dayan’s seven-string guitar riffs lacerate the soul like glass on raw flesh, sustained by the percussive violence of Sorg Krig and the desperate screams of D-Key. Together, they throw open the gates to a cathedral of pain, forcing the listener to live their own nightmare.
